To Same Computer

1. Rename your existing program directory to "OLD".

2. Download and install the latest program from our web site at http://www.allstats.com/demo.htm.

 

Before you begin:

It is very important that you are running the same version of the program on each computer. So, the first thing you will need to do is download and install the maintenance disk to bring your current program up to the same version of the new program you will be installing on your other computer. The latest maintenance disk can be found at http://www.allstats.com/maint.htm


Using the Laptop / Transfer method:

1. While in your old program, make a copy of your existing team using the Laptop / Desktop Transfer command. Set the floppy disk aside. If you have more than one team in your program, you will need to make a floppy for each team by opening that team and then selecting Laptop / Desktop Transfer. Once completed, rename your existing program directory to "OLD".

2. Download and install the latest program from our web site at
http://www.allstats.com/demo.htm to your computer.

3. E-mail the "KEY" number (shown in the registration box that is displayed when the program is first opened), by going to our Registration Request Form or press the "Request a Registration Number" button displayed on the opening screen of you program.

4. Go to the Team Menu in your new program and select [Add New Team]. Enter the basic team info and save.

5. Go to the
Laptop / Desktop Transfer command under the File Menu and select [Import].

6. The files for that team will be loaded into your program. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for each team that you need to restore.

 

Using the Backup and Restore method:

1. While in your old program, make a backup of your existing teams using the Backup / Restore command. Set the floppy disk aside. Once completed, rename your existing program directory to "OLD".

2. Download and install the latest program from our web site to your new computer.

3. E-mail the "KEY" number (shown in the registration box that is displayed when the program is first opened), by going to our
Registration Request Form or press the "Request a Registration Number" button displayed on the opening screen of your program. You will need a registration number in order to use the Backup / Restore functions. Once you receive your number, enter it by going to the Registration Menu.

4. Go to the
Backup / Restore command under the Utilities Menu and select [Restore].

5. The all the data files from your old program will be loaded into your new program.

Using the Copy Files method:


1. From your program directory on your old computer, copy all files that begin with "LOCFILES" and all files that end with ".BBC" to a floppy disk. Once completed,
rename your existing program directory to "OLD".


2. Download and install the latest program from our web site at
http://www.allstats.com/demo.htm to your new computer.

3. E-mail the "KEY" number (shown in the registration box that is displayed when the program is first opened), by going to our Registration Request Form or press the "Request a Registration Number" button displayed on the opening screen of you program.


4. Insert the floppy disk into your new computer. Copy all the files from the floppy to your program directory on your new program.
