Purpose:
The purpose of the Laptop / Desktop Transfer feature is to allow you to easily exchange data between your laptop and desktop computers or two desktops at different locations.
Location:
This command is found under the File Menu of your program. After making this selection, the dialog box shown below will be displayed.

Exporting:
1. Enter the letter of the drive you wish to export your data to and then press the [Export] button. You will then be asked to insert a blank disk (if you don't select your hard drive).
2. Once done, press the OK button. All the data from your program will then be exported to the destination you previously selected.
Importing:
1. Enter the letter of the drive you wish to import your data from and then press the [Import] button. You will be asked to insert the disk with your data on it into the drive you previously selected.
2. Once done, press the OK button. All the data from the disk will be imported to your program. Keep in mind this replaces all the files in your program so it is important that the data being imported is ALL the data you want in your program, as the old data will be overwritten.
WARNING:
DO NOT attempt to import data that was not exported from your program using the Laptop / Desktop feature. Doing so could damage your program.
Tip:
You could also use the transfer feature as an optional backup system by storing your information on disk and restoring later if necessary.
