You are welcome to download and install Star Download absolutly free. It will speed up your downloads and prevent timouts that cause incomplete downloads. It's not very big and will only take a minute or two to set it up. It's very easy. This program is great for dialups but we found it even sped up our DSL downloads by about 20%.

Instructions

1. Download by clicking here.

2. Once downloaded, install the program.

3. Once installed, open the program and go to the [Config] button and click on the name of your browser.

4. Close the program. That's it.

Now anytime you download, this small program will popup. All you have to do is press the start button. You will notice the file downloads in four sections, all at the same time, which speeds up the entire process which in turn prevent timeouts and incomplete downloads. Once the program is downloaded, just click on it in the list and the program you just downloaded will install.
